Welcome to the EPS Scientific Colloquium and to our Societal Round Tables!
Day 2 will propose a series of conferences and round tables on the main themes:
- Energy and sustainability
- Accelerators, high-energy particle physics, nuclear physics
- Quantum technologies and photonics
- Machine learning and artificial intelligence
- Biophysics, technological sequencing of biomolecules and human health
- Condensed matter physics: from quantum materials to additive manufacturing
addressed by outstanding personalities selected by the Programme Committee and the concerned EPS Divisions and Groups.
We shall have the pleasure to welcome the following Nobel Laureates
Besides, the EPS Forum will host leadership and societal meetings in the form of round tables and workshops for the EPS Member Societies and interested attendees addressing the following topics:
- Young Minds Leadership Meeting – Workshop session on “From PhD to CEO”
- Round Table on Physics and Society
- Round Table on Physics Education
- Internal Meetings between the EPS Member Societies (to be defined)
